I came across this video today after having been following Gary for a while now but this video really stood out for me and made me think. The reason that a lot of the successful entrepreneurs are so good at what they do is a result of countless hours honing at their craft. But the thing that people don’t realize is that the reason that they are able to do this for 18 hours a day and not go INSANE is because a lot of the time they are simply doing the thing that they love and have a passion for. It no longer becomes tedious because they wouldn’t want to be doing anything else with their time. Another element that Gary includes in a lot of his videos is the concept of patience. He emphasizes this so much because in reality there is no such thing as an overnight success and he couldn’t be more right. No-one successful got there without hard work. The work that it takes behind closed doors is the work that will get us to the point of success, and something that seems to be a process that is most valued by the entrepreneur not until after they become successful. This is because no matter how bad we want to be successful nor how clear our vision is, there will always be that little ounce of doubt in the back of our mind. Therefore, successful people all have one thing in common that separates them from the rest and is one of the most important things that thrusted them to where they are today. That one thing is PERSISTENCY when it comes to their work.
